She was born on June 24, 1943 in San Luis, Colorado to Jose and Eufelia (Sanchez) Valencia.
Flora is survived by her husband, Ray Olivas; two daughters, Carol (Rick) Medina, and Debra (Gilbert) Munoz; a brother, Adolph Valencia; three sisters, Mequelita DeHerrera, Clorinda (Vernal) Medina, and Maggie (Ernie) Jimenez; her four grandchildren, Floyd and Nathan (Kimberly) Medina, Angelica (Joe) Gonzalez, and Angelina Munoz; and her four great-grandchildren, Anastasia Munoz, Aniyah Marquez, Elara Gonzalez, and Seraphine Medina.
Visitation, 5:00PM-7:00PM, with a Rosary at 7:00PM, Sunday, July 23, 2017 at The Springs Funeral Services, 3115 East Platte Avenue, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80909.
Mass of Christian Burial, 10:00AM, Monday, July 24, 2017 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1830 South Corona Avenue, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80905.

You were called home a month ago to be with our Lord and Savior. I know it must be amazing to be in his glory. It's so hard to believe you are not here with us and miss you dearly.

Theirs not a day that goes by that I dont think of you. I still catch myself calling you or making plans for going to visit you, I dont think this will ever get easier. I never thought I'd have to live life with out you, you were my best friend. I wish I could just have one last day with you to drive you around like we always would and you would grab my hand and tell me "let's go my jelly" it would make my day even though we were just going to pay your bills. I go to your house and still hope I'll walk in and see you sitting at the table with your coffee and your mirror putting on make up but your not and its very hard to realize your not their no more. One day I'll see you again though in heaven, until then I love you so much grandma and I am truly blessed to have had you as a grandma.
