Florence Narcissa Muniz was born in Las Animas, CO to Paul and Sofia Muniz on Oct. 29th 1934.
She married Adolph Estrada on March 20, 1954 and settled in Colorado Springs where they raised their six children. Those who survive her include her only brother Paul (wife Connie) Muniz, her children: Marcella (Jeff); Adolph Jr: Ronald (Denise); Belinda (John); Paul; Joanna; and Daniel (Christa) Sanchez. As well as her 20 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.
Florence was a loving wife, mother and a loyal friend. She enjoyed being active in her community heading PTAs, Girl Scouts and coaching Bobby Sox.
She was a breast cancer survivor who took full advantage of her time playing softball, traveling, attending Red Hat events, and cheering on the Rockies and Broncos.
Florence passed peacefully and quietly at home on the afternoon of Wednesday October 26th. She will be greatly missed by her family and the community which she left a large impression on.
She asked that any donations be made to the Breast Cancer Awareness Foundation or Colorado Springs Parks and Rec.
A Rosary will be held on Saturday, November 12, 2022 at 10:00 a.m., followed by a service at Swan-Law

We will miss Florence dearly, our lovely, spirited cousin who gave so much of herself to her family, friends and things she enjoyed. The last time she and Adolph came to Houston, we laughed, danced and dined celebrating Robert´s birthday; a memory we will always remember. May she and Adolph now dance again together. Love you always cuz, Robert and Annie Quiroz (Houston).
