Floyd Clark Obituary

Floyd E. Clark, 79 of Colorado Springs passed away on Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at Parkmoore Nursing Home. Floyd suffered from many serious ailments and had been under hospice care.

Floyd was born on October 25, 1935 in Elk City, Oklahoma. He resided there until he joined the United States Air Force where he served for over 24 years. He later retired to Colorado Springs and embarked upon a second career in electronics. In his free time he enjoyed building and flying model airplanes, fishing, shooting and spending time with his family.

Floyd is survived by his wife of 51 years, Maureen Clark. He is also survived by his 4 children, Gay Clark, Paul Clark, Tina Conley and Lisa Killen. In addition, Floyd is survived by 7 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

Floyd especially enjoyed a close relationship with his son-in-law Odie Killen and grandson Patrick Craver.

Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, January 16, 2015 at Memorial Gardens, 3825 Airport Road, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80910.

We will always carry his memory in our hearts.

Dear Maureen, Tina and Lisa,

I would like to express my sorrow at the loss of your husband and father. I have many fond memories working with Floyd at NCR, ATT, Symbios and LSI. We worked together for many years and he was a great asset to rely upon both professionally and personally. Floyd will be greatly missed.
