Frances Kelley Obituary

Frances Wilson Kelley, 91, passed away on October 25, 2008 in Akron, Colorado. Daughter of Archie Earl Wilson and Stella Viola Showalter, she married Omer Kelley on December 24, 1939 in Columbus, Ohio and would have celebrated their 68th wedding anniversary. She was a loving, beautiful, and compassionate wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. Frances had a strong faith, great capacity to love, a beautiful spirit and a very positive attitude. Frances was born on June 23, 1917 in Berthoud, Colorado, and spent her childhood in Wellington and Fort Collins. She attended Fort Collins High School and Colorado State University where she met her husband Dr. Omer J. Kelly. She was a member of United Methodist Church. She was also a member of the Fort Collins Welcome Wagon. Frances was an artist who enjoyed China Painting, Interior Decorating and had a great talent for color and composition.
