Retired from Harrison District 2 as the Food Service Manager for Monterey Elementary School
Frances passed peacefully to Heaven, surrounded by loved ones, at her home in Colorado Springs on February 7, 2021 at the age of 85. She was born in Walsenburg, CO on October 28, 1935. She was a life long Colorado resident and was married to her late husband Severiano Monreal. Before her late husband's passing, they were married 60 years.
Survivors include sons Mark and Darrell, 8 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband Severiano Monreal, and her daughter Regina.
Viewing and Rosary will be held on February 18, 2021, 10:30 am at Our Lady of Guadalupe in Colorado Springs. Funeral Mass will follow starting at 11:00 am. Graveside services will be held at 12:15 pm at Memorial Gardens in Colorado Springs. In leu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to any Catholic charities or any Military Veterans associations of your choice.
