Frank Davey, retired architect and artist, died peacefully at home on Feb. 21, 2024. Born and raised in Scottsbluff, Nebraska, he attended the University of Nebraska College of Architecture, where he met Lineah, his wife of 60 years. They made their home in Colorado Springs in 1971. His passions in retirement were watercolor painting and spending time with his family. He had a brilliant mind and filled the world with many wonderful creations. He is preceded in death by his parents Grace and Charles Davey Sr. He is survived by his brother Chuck Davey Jr. (Donna), wife Lineah, daughters Jennifer (Patrick Kresl), and Kara (Charles Covington) grandchildren Patrick, Ava, and Griffin, 15 nieces and nephews, and his care givers Sylvia Stewart and Demetrius Ollie. A memorial service will be held at First United Methodist Church on March 9, 2024, at 2pm. Streaming services available at fumc-cs.org. In lieu of flowers, please consider contributing to the District 11 Foundation at foundationford11.com and designate for art related projects.

Sincere condolences on behalf of the Pikes Peak Watercolor Society on the passing of our long-time member, Frank Davey, to his wife, Lineah, his daughters, Jennifer and Kara, and to all of his family. Frank joined in 2001 and remained as a signature member tor 20 years until 2021. In September of 2009, he was elected President of PPWS, but stepped down shortly thereafter because of health issues. Frank will be fondly remembered.
