Frank Fanelli Obituary

Was supposed to meet up with Mr. Fanelli a few years ago when we were in Las Vegas area. He was my confirmation sponsor in Middlesex, NJ. The Fanelli family relocated to Colorado and our father transferred to California with Dupont and we lost touch . I did reach out to him when we were on our way to Las Vegas ,but a medical emergency with a family member changed our plans. Condolences to the Fanelli family. Patrick

Frank was a good friend,a great musician and an all around good guy. Danced to his music every week at The Broadmoor. We play his CD a lot just to hear him and his music. Miss him a lot.

Missing Frank so much . He was a great guy and awesome musician.
Frank booked me on hundreds of gigs at the Broadmoor. He would call me on occasion and with that Jersey accent , would say Joey could you do a single for me. He booked our band many many times. I talked to Frank over a year ago and am so happy I was able to thank him for the many years of good gigs and friendship.
You are missed Frank!!

Dear Fanelli family, I am sending love and prayers to all.
There are two memories of have about your father. I first met him when I was probably 5-7 years old. He was with my future brother-in-law, Rudy De Sousa. Rudy was visiting my older sister Teresa Trujillo. From that day on I had the biggest crush on him. The crush lasted many years. My other memory was his singing Happy Birthday to me at an event in the International Center. It was thrilling. I will always remember listening to his playing at the Tavern. He was the nicest person ever.

I extend my deepest sympathy to Velma and her family. Frank touched so many lives with his lively dance music at the Broadmoor for years. Enjoyed hearing Frank and Russ Freymuth (hotel gen. mgr.) sing duets in The Tavern. Rest in peace dear friend.

We were friends with Frank & Velma for many years ...Danced to his music weekly at the Broadmore...Enjoyed get togethers,dinners,Cripple Creek and visits in both The Springs and Henderson...A truly great guy....deep,deep sympathy.

Condolences to the Fanelli Family. Frank was our neighbor in Middlesex, NJ and my Confirmation sponsor. My parents moved to Ca. due to a job transfer and I believe Frank did the same thing, moving to Colorado. He was a nice man and we did try to get together a few years ago, but we had a medical emergency and never did get together. God Bless.

It was great working with you at the Broadmoor and on some great events. You brought so much pleasure to so many. Wonderful memories created while your band played. You were very much a part of the history of the Broadmoor. Condolences to your loved ones.
