Tom will be spending his first Christmas with Jesus this year He was born at home in Beaver City, Nebraska to Nelle and Harry Inman on August 3, 1924 and departed for his heavenly home on December 20, 2007. He graduated from Beaver City High School and Tabor College in Hillsboro, Kansas where he met the love of his life, Geneva Pearl Heinrichs. They were married on August 19, 1950. In 1953 he graduated Suma Cum Laude from Grace Seminary. They moved to Denver, CO where he was the Pastor of Denver Grace Brethren Church from 1954-1970. In August 1970 they moved with their children to Colorado Springs, where he started a new church, Colorado Springs Grace Brethren. He served there until his retirement in 1994. After his retirement he continued to serve the church in many areas including helping with the children's ministry. Tom served on the Board of Grace College and Seminary for 30 years. In addition, he was a substitute teacher for 50 years. Tom's passion in life was to lead people to Christ, to shepherd them and encourage them to also serve the Lord. Pastor and Geneva Inman have been key figures in the lives of my family for many years. We started going to Grace Brethren in the early 70’s when they would conduct services at Stratmoor Hills Elementary School. They were in the process of establishing the groundwork for the first Grace Brethren Church in Colorado Springs, I don’t know how long we met in that school auditorium many years ago, but at my early age I found the Inman’s a sweet engaging couple dedicated to bringing the teachings of the Bible to all. I’m proud to say it was in their church I first accepted the Lord as my Savior. My mother was very active with various church activities and I remember getting letters from her telling me of the chili and fried bread she would bring to the church potlucks…made me homesick as I was serving in the Marines at the time and later lived away in California. As my brother (Timothy Davis) mentioned, the Inman’s were there for us when my dad was ill and passed April 2005 and they were there when we lost mom in December 2006. I shall always be thankful for their selfless actions of love and prayers for my beloved parents at their time of need. It is this love that I now pass on to Geneva and her lovely children. My heart and prayers go out to you and know I will always treasure the memories of Pastor Inman. He was the epitome of true faith and grace. My sincere condolences, Lisa Lewis

Pastor Inman was an inspiration and an extraordinary man for us for many years. His leadership, quiet strength, and love without restraint served as a beacon through our many troubles. I believe I speak for all my siblings when I say pastor Inman kept us all afloat during the turbulance of losing both our parents; George R. Lewis (4-2005) and Elyse Lewis (12-2006). Since I first met pastor in the '80s I have been blessed knowing he was always there to help my Mom. I treasure the memories of attending services with pastor Inman. Thank you God for allowing Tom Inman in our lives!

For: The Lewis's; Dee Moore (Cossette); Lisa Lewis; Dawn, Joe, Katy, Zach, Jakey Ogrodny; and most humbly for me. Thank you.

When I called Tom & Geneva last spring, Tom got on the phone, with excitement in his voice and said, "are you thinking about coming out?" My answer was "Yes" and I am so thankful that I did. Tom is my Dad's best friend, and they are reunited once again!
Tom & Geneva's love for our family was and is unwavering in good times and in bad.......like God's love!
There will always be a special place in my heart for my good friend, Pastor Tom Inman!

Many times we hear the phrase "He was a Man of God." If ever a man deserved this accolade it was Tom Inman. Whether preaching, singing or just visiting, there was always a large dose of enthusiam, very genuine concern and the Lord's love.

"Wonderful Name of Jesus" was 'Tom's Hymn.' Even today I hear Tom booming out the chorus, "Magnify the Precious Name of Jesus, Praaaaise His name!" Tom, you are alive always in that hymn.

To Tom's family,
Although I knew him as "Frank" at WSD3, that didn't change who he was or what he stood for. He was a pleasure to work with. God grant peace and love and comfort for your loss.

I can't remember a time when I didn't know Pastor Tom Inman. I could say so many good things about him, but the one thing that really stands out was his constant testimony and love for the Lord. I am going to miss him, but I know he is much better off now. Someday we will meet again. PTL!!

We are sorry to hear of Tom's passing, but we are confident that he is with the Lord. We have many happy memories of our High School years with Tom in Beaver City.

Dear Geneva and family,
I remember the day years ago when we were your new neighbors, up the block. We were new to Colorado Springs and were starting a new venture in a place we didnt understand. You and Tom reached out to our family... the Lord used you and Tom to help form His purpose for us in our new venture. I will always remember those times as an eternal step of which the Inmans and Pastor Tom were a large part of. My heart goes out to you in this time of grief and the thanksgiving for Tom's life, love and eternal influence of those around him. There will soon come Heaven where 'time will be no more' and we will celebrate in the clarity, reality and joy of His Creation for us.
love, Bruce Clack
