I was fortunate enough to have served with Frank at my first assignment as a PJ at Eglin AFB, FL. He was quiet, confident, and respected by all of us new guys. Not only was he a top notch PJ, but Frank was a natural athlete able to master any sport or job related task. In addition, he was smart. We all tried to emulate him but fell short every time. When I heard that he went on to fly in the Army, I wasn't surprised. I'm sure he mastered that too. Our motto in Pararescue is "These things we do...that others may live". Frank exemplified the motto. God bless and watch over Frank on his next mission. (I'm sure he's already showing the new guys a thing or two)

We had the privilege getting to know Frank during the purchase of our home last fall. From the first day spent with him house hunting; we knew he was genuine, sincere, gracious and so patient with us as we had our two boys in tow for the day. As we were out on a Saturday morning with Frank, he invited us to stop by his house in between showings and get fresh milk for the kids. From the smallest detail, he exceeded all of our expectations instantly and became more than a realtor. He was a true friend; it was like we had known him for years. Frank, you will be dearly missed. May God bless you and watch over your family. With kind regards ~

I just learned of your loss. I was at the same company as Frank for 9.5 years. I remember meeting him at an open house he was sitting about a year before he joined our company. I had the pleasure of working with him several times and always enjoyed the experience. I pray God's perfect peace for you and your family.

I was fortunate to have worked with Frank last year when I represented a buyer for one of his listings. He and his group were so professional and a pleasure to do business with. Frank embodied all that is good about the real estate business! I appreciate the contributions he made to our profession, and offer my sincere condolences to the Medeiros family.

I played racquetball with Frank at the YMCA. I remember when I first started to get to know Frank. He came and played challenge courts at the YMCA. I remember that I was really irritated at him for some reason after that racquetball game. After the game he came and sat by me and he laughed and said that I was too competitive, and that he liked that. (Probably because of his competitive nature) Then he said some funny things and I was all smiles again. I always had fun playing with or against him. I know everyone at the challenge courts will miss him dearly.

I knew Frank when I was a young pararescueman serving at Eglin AFB during the 80’s. He always came across as cocky, arrogant, and superior … that is until you realized (rather quickly) that his confidence was borne out of the fact that often smarter, fitter, and more talented than those around him. He lived the Air Force “Core Value” of “Excellence in all we do” before it was created. He was a true mentor and example of what a man should aspire to be.

Chris, I never had the pleasure of meeting you or your wonderful children, but have heard so many wonderful stories and saw so many beautiful pictures from Frankie's father. I knew Frankie as a teenager here in Modesto. I read the entries in this guest book, and I am not the least bit surprised to see how loved, and admired he was. I have always had the most wonderful memories of Frankie. (That is what I always called him).I was devastated to hear the news of Frankie's passing and could only go to the Lord at that moment and ask that he give you and the family, the faith and strength, to get thru this most difficult time. My prayers and sympathies are with you all.

To my Uncle Frank and my cousin Frankie’s family,
I’m can’t express my feelings enough to say how sorry I am that Frankie is gone. I spent my summer as a teenager running the streets of Modesto with my cousin Frankie. He and I had so many experiences together that I will never forget. I am sorry that over our adult lives we never were able to spend time together. Frankie was really my only male cousin and during those days a great friend. Even though it has been 25 years or so since those summer days I remember them as though they were yesterday.
Love your cousin, Johnnie

"Whom have I in heaven but You? I desire You more than anything on earth. My health may fail, and my spirit may grow weak, but God remains the strength of my heart; He is mine forever." Psalm 73:25-26
Frank and I worked in the same building for several years and he was always a joy to see. His joyous spirit and humorous way was always refreshing - and a rarity in our business! The impression that he made on many as a strong family man, a businessman of integrity, and a true friend to many will insure his legacy lives on. Thoughts and prayers to the family at this time of loss. God will bless you with His peace that passes all understanding.

Chris, Frankie and Mandi,
My prayers are with you. My heart goes out to you. I feel so blessed that I was able to know Frank and I love how he could make everyone laugh to tears! I will never forget his many stories that kept me on the edge of my seat to just have me laughing in the end. Frank, thank you for the memories. Rest peacefully and enjoy being with your son and your Heavenly Father. Chris, Frankie and Mandi, please call me if you need anything.

I served with Frank in Pararescue at Eglin AFB. We were together during JUST CAUSE, the invasion of Panama. Frank took on the task of physically clearing an area of the runway in Panama that was unsecured. He was shot at by both sides as he made the ride on the dirt bike. After receiving word from Frank that the runway was clear of obstacles, a damaged C-130 aircraft was able to make a safe take off and was recovered to a friendly airfield. Frank accomplished many more missions during the three days we were at the remote airfield. His actions saved lives and eased the suffering of many. Frank lived by the motto - "that others may live".
May God bless you all and be your strength and comfort. - JT

Chris, Mandy and Frankie,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Frank was one of my favorite people in the world. Even though jobs and responsibilities prevented us from being as close as we once were, I considered him to be one of my best friends. I will truly miss him. Diana and I are deeply saddened and our hearts grieve with you Chris and girls for this great, great loss. We earnestly pray that our Lord will draw very near to you at this time, and that He will carry you through this very difficult time. May His love, strength, and peace be with you.

Dear Chris & Family,
May you and your family find comfort in the memories that are yours to cherish always, and the strength in the companionship of those who share your loss.
Blessed are those who morn for they shall be comforted. Matthew 5:4
May it be a source of inner strength to know that there’s a loving God watching over you and your family, throughout this time of need. He’ll stay close by your side. May He comfort you in the quiet moments when the hurt is hard to bear and you’re feeling overwhelmed. May He bless you with peaceful feelings in the days ahead. May God’s love become your shelter.
With each memory we shall all meet again with Frank, for the heart never forgets. With the beauty of those precious memories stamped upon our hearts, Frank will live on, to those that were fortunate enough to know and love him in this lifetime.
Know you and your family are held in gentle thoughts, prayers and in the palm of God’s hands. My extended deep and heartfelt sympathy goes out to you and your family.
God Bless!

One of my fondest memories of my brother is when he was a senior in high school,I a freshman. He took me skiing in a blizzard to Bear Valley. He drove 100mph the entire way, picking up hitch hikers along the way and telling them to get in back of the pick-up truck and giving them a ride of their lives.Singing a duet with him all the way by Neil Diamond and Barbara Strisand "You won't bring Me Flowers", over and over until we got it right. Some how he talked me into going down the "black diamond" with him. I had only skiied a couple of times and we were sharing one pair of goggles. That is one of many stories. I always wanted to follow my brother around growing up and he always tried to ditch me so I wouldn't tell on him.
The night of his death I went to see a movie at an old fashion theatre and I was remembering how my brother would go behind the screen and shake it and then we would hide when they came looking for us. He was my hero and I will see you again Frankie.

I will miss you bro - the way you loved your family, ran your business, and played hard too; and made it all look so fun and easy. You were always an inspiration in that regard. Thanks for the many laughs and memories. (I too, was one of those naive 'do anything for Frank' people, that he got to do something we didn't particularly want to do, at least more than once - that shrimp head did NOT taste good, did not taste "just like a potato chip", and I still have no idea how you got me to eat it!). Love you and miss you, dearly! Prayers to Chris, Mandi and Frankie and family; there's a community here that loves you, prays for you, and will help you in any way that we can, to 'climb that mountain'. God Bless you!

Frank was a leader and a good man. He served his country with excellence and his community with pride. When I served with him in the Air Force, he always challenged the team to do more by action alone. It was fun spending time with him. Life is all too brief. We will all miss this man.

I too will always remember Frank as a loving and kind hearted brother to his friends in the Air Force. You see I had the opportunity to know Frank while attending the very grueling thing we in Pararescue know as the OLJ. This was a once in a lifetime school that the only way you get through is with the help and encouragement of your teammates. Frank was that person. Frank was always the one to beat. Although never done, I tried my best. He was a true inspiration to all of us during our time together. Frank will be sorely missed by all of us that had the favor of knowing such a good person. I will miss your presence on this mortal earth. We will meet again.

Frank was one of my Pararescue Students up in the Pecos Wilderness of New Mexico. He hardly said a word to the Instructors but you knew he was thinking up stuff! As an Instructor you always speculate about who will turn out to be real good PJ's, Frank was a Real Good PJ. I went to War with him in Panama one Christmas. He was excited to be using all that training and experience he had by then. He was really involved in what was going on and very professional in his actions. Definitely a role model for the very young PJ's there. Frank had reached the pinnacle of his Pararescue Career and went on to be a US Army Apache Pilot and no doubt excelled at that too!!!
Love ya Frank,

I first met Frank some 12-15 yrs ago on the courts at Ft Carson and later many many times at Peterson AFB courts. Frank was known as a power hitter on the racquetball court. Finesse wasn't his game, but rather power, the more the better. He intimidated many who stood in front of him on a return. Only once did you fail to turn and see where he was hitting to. After being pounded by one of his crushing blows you learned quickly to get your butt out of the way. Frank always had a smile on his face and kind words for even the biggest rooty poot player. He was a fun and competitive opponent and will be missed greatly. Rest in Peace my friend and I'll look for you on the racquetball court of heaven.

Frank diligently helped us find and buy a house when we moved back to Colorado Springs four years ago. I remember his patience, wisdom, kindness, how he looked out for our best interests, but most of all for the way at which he put our then 2-year-old daughter at ease while we drove from house to house for hours. She wasn't comfortable with many people then, but she took to Frank right away. He could make her smile and laugh. I knew right then that Frank's family was very lucky, and that he must be lucky as well for having them. He spoke highly of his wife, son and daughters. I never had the fortune to meet his family, but my heart goes out to you as deal with this untimely tragedy on the heels of your other heartbreaking loss not so long ago. I hope you find strength in each other's love, and in the love of your friends and the Lord. Frank was truly blessed, as were we for having known him.

I first met Frank when he was introduced to me thru a fellow Warrant Officer to help me find a home to buy in the Springs about 5 years ago. As was his nature, he immediately put me at ease about moving to Colorado and we spent as much time talking about flying helicopters as we did searching for a house. Frank was one of a kind, and he'll be missed very much.
May the Lord Jesus Christ watch out over him and his family now and always,
