Frank Wilford Pierce, 82, passed away on Thursday, September 21, 2023, at surrounded by family at his home in Monument, Colorado.
Frank was born at home in Colorado Springs on September 20, 1941. His family moved to Monument, Colorado, in 1944. He attended Lewis-Palmer High School, where he met the love of his life, Roberta J. Redmon (Bobbe). They married on May 24, 1960.
Frank worked for Lewis-Palmer School District 38 for 29 years, mostly as head custodian of Lewis-Palmer High School. He retired in 1996. He volunteered with the Palmer Lake Fire Department and served on the Palmer Lake Town Council.
Frank is survived by his children Jim (Jeanne), Terri, and Lisa (Karen); his grandchildren, Chris, Matt, Joe (Mellora), Alex, and Maddie; great-grandchildren Kathryn, Llewyn, and Bobbe; and siblings Norman, Don, Jerry, Mary, Walt, Linda, and Sam.
A celebration and remembrance of Frank's life will be hosted on Saturday, November 4, at 2 pm at the Lewis-Palmer School District 38 administration building (Big Red) at 146 N Jefferson St in Monument. See full obituary at https://www.crematecolorado.com/2023/10/17/frank-wilford-pierce/

Terri, Jim & Lisa -- my condolences to you and your families. I can still see your Dad in the hallway of the high school with his smile and little "wave" as we passed.
