I worked with Fred during my employment at MGMA. Great to work with and lots of fun times hard to believe he has been gone almost 20 years.

Dear Kathleen,

I am so saddened to hear about Fred's parting. He was a wonderful man. I had the pleasure of knowing and working with him for many years, both at MGMA and more recently. He was generous, warm, inventive, and great fun to be around. Although I have not seen him on a regular basis during the last several years, I have always looked forward to our phone conversations and the wonderful possibilities they have held.

I send you my very best wishes, Kathleen. If there is anything I can do during this difficult time, please do not hesitate to let me know.

I was shocked and saddened when I learned about Fred. I worked with Fred when he was a doctoral candidate at the University of Iowa. When I moved to Colorado in the mid 70's, Fred helped me with job references and was always willing to offer his professional advice and assistance. My thoughts are with the Graham family.

Dear Kathleen:

I'm not sure which name you know me by--Lisa Dawkins, I think--GWAMI.

I'm so sorry about Fred-face. You seemed content with Fred and I was happy for you. I admired the way you got along, and thought it was a pretty good way to make a marriage work.

Fred seemed like a really nice guy. I hardly knew him, but I'd heard about him since the early 90's, and everyone respected and liked him.

I hope you are doing well. Please email when you feel up to it. I'd love to see you again.

All my best to you and your family--

Lisa

I was so saddened to learn of Fred's passing. I will always have fond memories of him from the great times we had at Wasson High School and our several class reunions. I smile when I look back on the energy he displayed leading pep rallies before Wasson football games, his performance in class stage productions and his leadership during council meetings. He would always greet you with a warm smile and friendly handshake. My most sincere condolences - I will miss him greatly.

To all of Fred's family: It's been many many years since our family moved across the alley from the Graham's and many many good memories over the years. There was the moped, the waterskiing at Prospect Lake, the family visiting me in Hawaii, all the dogs, the events of the family all throughout the years, but nothing so shocking as this news. My heart goes out to all of you, and I do believe I have met most all of you at one time or another. Special thoughts are with you all. With sincere sympathy, Liz

To Fred's family:

Fred was a long time friend. We went to the same church and schools since pre-school days. My parents knew his parents and I hope this message will be extended to his mother, for which I have found memories. He had a zest for life and I was so saddened by his death. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Kathleen,

We have not met, but I met Fred prior to his retirement from MGMA. And he was at our home for a Western Section dinner in July 2004. That was the last time we saw Fred, but we have kept up with his illness. Your loss is shared by many as Fred was a great man and will be missed. Our prayers are with you and your family.

My deepest sympathy in this difficult time and yet as we have celebrated the wonderful life of Fred in these past couple of weeks, I'm sure it brought Fred's familiar smile to his face in his darkest hours. Fred was significant because of the "value he added to others." Farewell my "significant" friend.

It is with sadness that I learned of Fred's passing away. Kathleen, I believe we met briefly, a number of years ago. I met Fred when I became Senior Research Scientist at MGMA in 1996. At that time, Fred warmly welcomed me to a new institution, spending time with me and going out to lunch. I was also amazed to meet someone who had spent 25 years in one organization. Once Fred left MGMA, we did occasionally keep in touch. I was envious that you and Fred were able to "escape" to spend one year on a boat on the Eastern seashore!

My last email contact with Fred was about a year ago. My best wishes to you, Kathleen, and your family.

For Kathleen and Fred's closer friends:

I hadn't seen Fred Graham since high school days, and only made contact with him at the Wasson High 40th reunion. I had never attended before, but I was so glad I made contact with Fred again, even though it meant sharing his illness. I had always remembered Fred as a cheerful, kind and good looking young man, and from other comments, it looks like he maintained those qualities throughout his life. I'm happy to have known him and look forward to seeing him again back home on the long side of time.

Kathleen -

Although we have never met, Fred always spoke highly of you in our visits. My prayers and thoughts are with you and Fred's family.

Fred was one of the first individuals to welcome me to Colorado and to encourage me in my job search. Over the years we have been connected in numerous ways. We had many memorable discussions over a Starbuck's coffee. He was a great man and individual. I will miss him.
