Fred Squire Murr of Falcon passed away on March 4, 2022, at the age of 80 after a battle with lung cancer. Fred was born May 30, 1941, in Colorado Springs to Alfred "Fred" Washington and Bernice (Groft) Murr and is survived by his two children Fred Jr. (Connie) Murr of Pueblo and Tammy (Dan) Fields of Falcon; three granddaughters Amy Jo Fields, Jervaise (Christopher) Pileggi, Jessica (Adam) King; three great grandchildren Zayne Rodgers, Remi King, Jenevieve Pileggi; and sister June Heimsoth. Fred was preceded in death by his parents; siblings Freda, Edna Mae, Margorie, Jim, and Helen "Windy"; granddaughter Nicole Fields and great granddaughter Harvey King.
Services will be held on Tuesday, March 15 at 10:00 am at Meridian Point Church, 5450 N. Meridian Rd, Peyton, CO. Interment at Peyton Cemetery.
