Fred was preceded in death by his first wife Jean O'Connell, his parents
Desmond and Phyllis O'Connell, his sister Verity Nevinski, and his grandson Chad Townsend.
He is survived by his wife Maria Estevez, his children Sean O'Connell (Angie), Caireen Rhoades, Mark Townsend (Mary), Lynn Dollar (Sam) his 7 grandchildren, brothers David and Ian, and his sister Heather.
He was an Army Veteran and a 35 year Colorado Springs Utilities employee.
His memorial service will be held on March 10th at 10:00 at Grace Episcopal Church, 601 North Tejon.
