Fred Triplett Obituary
He was born February 4, 1926 in Akron, Ohio to Mary (Calvert) Triplett. He served in the Navy during the Korean War. Fred was a Commercial Artist until he retired. He lived in Parkersburg, W. Va. for 30 years. He was the Chaplain for the DAV, lifelong member of the American Legion, and was a member of the Akron Barbershop Quartet.
Survivors include his daughters, Renee Baker of Akron, Connie (Bryan) Stinnett of Palmyra, Vicki Triplett of Akron, Sandy Richardson of Akron; sons, Bruce (Linjie) Triplett of Ephrata, Wash., Robert (Pam) Triplett of Jacksonville, Fla., Ronald (Kay) Triplett of Solomons, Mass.; 12 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Family services will be held at a later date. Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home handling the arrangements. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.sscfuneralhomes.com.
