Garrett Brown Obituary

Garrett "Paul" Brown
October 18, 1943
January 21, 2024

Garrett Paul Brown, beloved husband to Ronaele, devoted father to six children, kindly grandpa to 18 grandchildren and one great-grandchild, died at home on January 21, 2024. He will be remembered for his selflessness and patience which defined his character. Paul never had an unkind word about anyone, and he loved to share stories that would make the listener feel as if they were participants. While he rarely spoke of it, he was awarded the Bronze Star for his courage and sacrifice during our nation's most treacherous war. Paul was committed to brightening the world for his wife who he often referred to as the love of his life. He certainly was hers. For all his goodness, he will be sorely missed.

Paul late with message. You were a wonderful brother -in-law. I remember Bobbie bringing you mom and dad's when you got home from Vietnam. Daddy spoke to you alone. Now in Heaven you and can talk. I have prayed for your family for many years.

This was my grandpa or "grandpaul" as i knew him! He taught me a lot about history and how things worked. When I was a kid and we lived with him he was always there sitting in the garage and would ask me about school and how things were going. He would help me with my math homework and was always supportive of me even when I didn´t feel like I understood it. I didn´t get as much time with him as I would have liked to but I loved the times we did have. I miss him very much and I hope he´s feeling better now.
