Gary Atler Obituary

Gary A. Atler, 70, passed away Monday, August 11 at Memorial Hospital. Gary was born September 23, 1937 in Colorado Springs, to Fili Atler and Bernice Baxter. On July 28, 1960 Gary married Deanna Atler at St. Mary's Cathedral here in Colorado Springs. Gary did many things in life. He served in the United States Army, worked for and retired from Colorado Springs Utilities, and most recently worked with LSC Transportation Consultants. Gary is survived by his wife, Deanna Atler; son, Gary (Karen) Atler; daughter, Kelly (Doug) Higgins; six grandchildren, Ryan, Nikki, and Lauren Higgins, Jason, Ryan, and Sarah Grade; brother, Ronald Atler; and sister, June (John) Mellman. A Memorial Service will be held Friday, August 15, 2008, 10:00 AM at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 2318 N. Cascade Ave. Colorado Springs, Colorado. Dad was a very gentle and patient man, his family will miss him!
