Gary Dean Lang Obituary
He leaves behind his wife Lia married on September 2 1995, and a son they share together Garret born on July 25 2005.
Gary is survived by his wife Lia, son Garret of Colorado Springs, mother Ann (Taylor Mi) Stephen and Kathy Lang (Grosse Pointe Mi) Douglas and Tammy Lang (Salida Co) and numerous family members and in-law family, and dear friends who will miss him very much.
Gary always liked collecting things. His most noted would be the expansive collection of LP's records which will continue to fill the house with his memory. Gary was also sentimental, collecting things such as written cards or notes to him. He has kept every item that was written to him in kindness. If something would touch his heart, he collected it. Gary loved baseball, he would attend every baseball game, baseball practice, and camp his son attended. Everyone knew Gary loved to throw the baseball, and the invitation was open to any one willing to receive it.
He graduated from Annapolis High School in Dearborn Heights Mi. in 1977. In 2010 He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Strayer University in Washington DC.
When Gary was 21, he started what would be his life career at Canteen Vending. Beginning in route sales, and working his way to District General Manager. He was dedicated, committed to excellent service, and proven results. He earned the respect of his associates, and colleagues, was a consistent and reliable leader, who was a good listener, kind spirited, and a problem solver.
Gary was most loved by his son and his wife, who will truly miss the precious gifts we gathered while in this life together. The best memorial we can give to Gary is to be a kid at heart, like he was. Always find time to go outside and play.

I feel very fortunate to have known and worked with Gary. He was a very good man and I never saw him lose his cool, even when under tremendous pressure. He was a family man and you could easily see how much he loved them. While it is incredibly sad that he left this earth much earlier than we all wished, I truly believe he is in a better place now where he is no longer in pain and is able reunite with his family and friends that have passed on. We will continue to pray for the Lang family as they cope with this huge loss, and hope they can find some comfort in the memories Gary left behind.
