What a great guy and servant of the Lord..miss him

A gentle, loving man who suffered without complaint, Gary’s spirit lives on in the memories of all who knew him. It was a blessing to have him as a part of my “Fremont Experience”. We are truly blessed.

Oh Marie, I hadn't heard about dear Gary until today. Two months after he went to be with The Lord. I'm in shock and so full of sadness for you. I am so deeply sorry I wasn't with you when this happened, when you needed support. I just didn't know.
Forgive my absence, but I will pray for you so much for you to get thru each day as it comes. Lean on, no jump into the arms of The Lord and let him carry you daily. I'm so heartbroken for you my dear friend...I just don't know what to do or say...so I'm, in Jesus' name, asking Him to take care of my friend.

I pray you feel the love and comfort of God, during this time as you experience the heart ache of losing your loving husband Gary. He was a man of integrity, loved our Lord with his whole heart. We can only imagine how the angels sang and the trumpet's resounded as he entered the gates of heaven.
I'm thankful for his time on earth in sharing the gospel and living his life for our Lord. Gary reached out ministering to adults and many a youth over the years (including Cory, Jamie and Eric), planting bushels of seeds along the way, for this his rewards are rich in Heaven. We too will share in this, thru God's promises……..I can hear Gary saying “I just beat you to it” with that big boyish smile of his. Until then we await with anticipation of meeting our Lord face to face and seeing our loved ones who have gone before us. making and bowl turning on the lathe. I
also was priveleged to play Christmas
music at Davinci's a few years ago. My prayers are with you and the family and know we will see him again in Heaven.I am proud to say that I knew him.

Dear Marie, I am so sorry for your lose! Having been were you stand I have some idea of your feelings, but only you truly know the extent of those. A young friend of mine who lost a child told me at Patt's passing that there just are no words, and at times like this, I find that to be true.

I am unfortunately out of town and can not be with you for Gary's service, but you are in my thoughts and prayers.

I still remember the old dune buggy he had and when he drove it out to the house and helped dig the foundation of one of my home additions when I still lived in town. A very giving and caring man. And ... our path's crossed in Findlay on occasion at the Emmaus weekends. He'll be missed.

Marie so very sorry to hear about Gary it has been many years since we have talked and many life changes. My thoughts and prayers with you

Gary was my God Father. I remember when I was little, he was always smiling and laughing. One time, when I was about eight, he took my sister I and for a walk in the woods behind our house and the trail lead to the lake. It was early Spring and there was big piles of ice on the shore. It was a cool nature hike. He would point things out to us and teach us a little bit about nature. I will never forget that. It was so much fun. It's good to know that I will see him again, in heaven.

I liked Gary from the first minute we met on the corner of Front & State Street. We talked nearly 20 minutes about Fremont history before I told him I needed to go meet the owner of Davinci's......He said, "well, I am the owner".. What a womderful man. I am sorry for your loss Marie,I will pray for you.

Gary how can we forget the camping experiences we had as kids. My brothers and sisters remember your jovial spirit and willingness to crack a joke. Always laughing is what we remember. Loved to laugh and what a precious laugh it was. You will be missed. Often as we age, we lose touch with memories of our youth. You are a precious memory.
