Remembering Mr. Schenck today. I miss the vocational electronics class (we had fun and learned a lot), the interesting stories he would tell us students, and mowing his large lawn. Class of '83.

I just stumbled upon Mr. Schenck's obituary. Here was a very influential figure in my life. He was my teacher in Electronics and provided me solid guidance in class and where to go to college, etc.. Without his guidance, I can't imagine where I would be now. He was encouraging and was able to help me find my talents.
I am hopeful that even thought his passing is so long ago, that his family can read this and have another example of his strong influence. RIP Mr. Schenck

Penny,
I was was very sorry to hear of Gary's passing. He will be remembered by all his students for his passion and fun loving nature. I for one would not be where I am today if it wasnt for what I learned in his class. I do hope that you are keeping well.

My condolences to you and your family. Gary was a teacher of mine at Mitchell High School, one of the best, and one that I will never forget. He changed many lives for the better. Those good memories of Gary and our class will always be with me.

I remember your dad as a man of high morals and character, and a man who loved teaching kids. He has definitly touched the lives of many and passed on those traits to them. God bless you all and give you His comfort during this time of grief.
