I was fortunate to live one street over from Bubba where we frequently played pickup games of football, baseball and basketball growing up together in the neighborhood. Rest in peace, my friend. He was one of the good guys.

Dear Tina,
I was very sorry to read about Bubba's passing via Lloyd's email. When we met in the 70's in Colorado Springs, Bubba became a good friend and even our roommate too! I always appreciated his welcoming spirit, kind heart, and mischievous smile. Although we lost touch after I moved to SF and then San Rafael, CA, I wanted to send a few words of comfort to you/family. He was one of those people who was larger than life and will be missed by those near and far. If your travel plans ever take you to CA, please reach out first to Lloyd M to get my contact info. With my Best Regards, Debby Rose (formerly Malone)

Bubba´s warm presence graced the Peak Theater on a regular basis, a beacon of kindness. His genuine interest in others, asking about families and well-being, touched hearts. Thoughtful and caring, Bubba left an indelible mark. I would bend over backwards to greet him (and Tina), for his cheerful outlook made me and my staff feel appreciated. In this world, such genuine joy is rare. Farewell, dear Bubba. You are missed.

Bubba was an amazing man that was always down for a good laugh. He would sass me anytime I saw him. Took a few years of my managing the Starbucks on the Westside to realize he's known my family for decades and met me when I was a toddler.
His laugh and smile is missed immensely at Starbucks!
Tina keeping you and the family in our thoughts and prayers!
Much love, Katie Cox and the 31st and Colorado Starbucks crew!

Bubba the world will not be the same with you gone physically from all of us, however your wonderful sense of humor, perspective and life will live on from great memories throughout the years. Your love of others and your unselfish commitment to organizations in our community is a great example to carry on. Heaven just got a little funnier! Rest In Peace my friend!

I will always remember watching the Jerry Lewis Telethon on Labor Day weekend 1968 at my parents house with Bubba and Many other young hipsters. My parents were out of town for the weekend and they went to their graves not knowing about this outrageous party we had. I don´t think either Bubba, nor myself ever laughed harder than that night with our artificial stimulants of the day. He lived a good life and we miss him already. Lots of love.
