Gary was my cousin, we visited often when his family lived in southern California, then about once per year after their move to Colorado Springs. Gary was a lot of fun, I remember race car posters in his bedroom. We had fun times at Garden of the Gods and Flying W Ranch. We reconnected years later, still the kind and good-natured fellow.

To the family and friends of Gary I am sorry for your loss. Gary was a great person. I worked with him at Pikes Peak International Raceway when he was our announcer. He never had a cross word about anyone and he was a great person to work with. I and my wife met up with Gary again at the Parkinson's support group when my wife was told she had Parkinson's. Was great to see him again.

To Gary's family: I am so sorry to hear this. I went to PPCC with him, worked with him at KYSN and at KILO. He's one of the sweetest people I've ever met. I'll always remember him talking about his cat Steve. My heart goes out to you, my thoughts and prayers are with you.

To Gary's family, we at the Colorado Parkinson Foundation extend our sincere sympathy to you for the loss of Gary. He leaves a great hole in our group where he was a quite behind the scenes person who made things happen. He was always kind, humble, and thoughtful. We miss him.
