Gary was an intelligent, sincere, and thoughtful friend to all of us who were privileged to know him at Computer Mart and NSR. I will forever be grateful for the impact he had on my career and my life.

As a first cousin to Gary, growing up our families visited when we would leave Kansas and see Gary and his family in Colorado and they would come to Kansas. As adults, Gary went to Oregon and I came to Pennsylvania. Gary was a funny guy, quick with a humorous comment, and smart as a tack! Probably Gary would say, "I didn't know tacks were smart!" Have prayed for Gary during his illness and will continue to pray for peace from the LORD for Sharon & Kevin in Portland and for Gary's extended family in Colorado & Texas. Love, Keith Hanneman

So sad to know Gary has passed. I went to North Jr. with him and saw him often in high school even though I went to Palmer.
He could find the humor in every situation...always kept us laughing!
I will be thinking of his family and friends during this difficult time.
