Eddie and I were fast friends while students at the University of Massachusetts. I admired and respected him so very much. We didn't get together enough over the years but met and talked when we could. I loved both Ed and Kathy - they were such a great couple. I am so sorry that he has passed away. We will all miss this giant of a man.

Some of my greatest memories growing up were my visits with my cousins Ed and Kathy. Ed was a "gentle giant", at times like an uncle or another father and in my later years, a big brother. I will never forget his true kindness and caring and even though miles separated us, you were both always in my heart. Kathy, Chris and Tom-I love you all and miss you. Keep the faith. Love, Erin

Ed was a GREAT friend, a GREAT mentor, and a GREAT SERTOMAN. He will be missed; and always remembered. Even when we disagreed, I always knew he was sincere in his beliefs - they were never based in malace or ill will. He was a good person, and I'm sure G-d is proud of him. My deepest condolences to his loved ones.
