George Carter Obituary

Monday at 3:56 AM, the Heavens gained an Angel. He would be greeted by friends and love ones upon reaching the "Happy Manitous". He was an honest true inspiration. He was a U.S.N Seabee, motorcycle racer, master diver, world traveler and an all around tradesman from Goldfield, CO and so much more. He is survived by his Daughter(Jessie Warrick) Son(Paul Warrick) Siblings(Cordiller Phillips, Carolin Farrier, Dennis Carter) and many Nieces and Nephews. He will always be a Father, Brother, Uncle, and Friend to all who knew him. The legend will live on. "Never goodbye, just see you later". Celebration of life will be held at a later date. We will keep everyone informed.

I spent many a days with George and he was the only one from my past that made it into my amazing future. My heart broke when I heard he had gone home. Truly an amazing man a better friend and an inspiration. Until we meet again my friend.

I met George at the Pikes Peak Hill Climb through his friend, Mickey Alzola. We shared many stories of growing up in Victor and Goldfield. Sorely missed already. My husband and I will look at Pikes Peak and think of our times with George at the Hill Climb. Full throttle.
