George Davis Obituary

George Davis, Parker CO, passed away peacefully on October 11th, 2007, at his home. He was 69 years old. A Memorial Service will be held at 11 am, Monday, October 15th, 2007 at Parker Funeral Home, Parker, CO, with Reverend Doug McKinney, followed by a gathering of friends and family at Parker Funeral Home. George was born December 3, 1937 to Charles O. Davis and Caroline M. E. Reifschneider in St. Louis, MO. George served in the U. S. Army. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather a loyal friend, and a car enthusiast. He completely built from scratch his last car a '31 Ford Hot Rod. He began his career in Colorado Springs as a design builder, and was a member of the Home Builders Association of Colorado Springs. He ended his 50+ years in the building industry building Starbucks. He enjoyed working with his hands and traveling to distant lands. Survived by: Charlotte Davis, wife, of Parker, CO, Gregory M. (Susan) Davis, son, of Orlando, FL, Casey L. Davis (Ed Fusco), Luke Davis Fusco, grandson. Cremation was handled by Parker Funeral Home with inurnment at Fort Logan National Cemetery with Military Honors, on Friday, October 19, 2007 at 11:00 am. Tristan Burtt Parker Funeral Home, Inc. when george was building in colo springs i sold him lbr. at cf lumber co became good friends @ enjoyed playing golf with him. he was a good builder @ designer
