George Hall Obituary

George L. Hall, Jr., passed away February 22, 2008. He was preceded in death by his parents George L. Hall, Sr., and Edith Bergman Hall and his brother Harold H. Hall. He is survived by his loving wife Jan Hall, with whom he celebrated their 55th Wedding Anniversary. His children are Lynn Kintz (Larry), Sharon Lauer (Rich), Wendy Mann (Todd), and Christopher G. Hall (Brenda). He was the loving grandfather to Katie Kintz Garvert (Adam), Chris Kintz, Meghan and Bethany Wood, Heather and Jamie Mann, Christopher, Matthew, Amy and Allison Hall and two great granddaughters, Anna and Gracelyn Garvert. George enjoyed, rock hounding and model railroading. He was one of the original members of Rocky Mountain G-Scalers Club in Colorado Springs as well as a member of Mile-High Railroad Club in Denver. He was a 50 year member of the Masonic Lodge and member of Douglas County Lodge #153, A.F. and A.M. in Castle Rock, Colorado. Most of his 36 years in Colorado were spent as a realtor in the Pikes Peak Region. A memorial service will be held, Thursday, March 6, 2008 in the stone chapel at Woodmen Valley Chapel at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Joni and Friends, Wheels for the World. Joni and Friends International Disability Center PO Box 3333 Agoura Hills, California 91376-3333.

Hall family, my condolences go out to Jan, Lynn, Sharon, Wendy and Chris, and all of the spouses and grandkids. George obviously left a great legacy and I am thankful to have been able to get to know him and the whole family. Be comforted by the good memories and times you had together.
