George Juchno Obituary
George J. Juchno, age 59, of McKean, passed away Wednesday, March 26, 2014 at St. Vincent Hospital.
He was born in Erie on April 9, 1954, a son of the late Wallace and Thelma Schultz Juchno.
George was a Building Engineer for the Erie Pennsylvania Port Authority, for over 17 years. He formerly worked at the Erie Infants and Youth Home. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed his dogs, upholstery, boating, camping and playing the drums. He was very proud to be involved in the decorating and lighting of the Bicentennial Tower for the Holidays.
He is survived by four sisters, Judith Santi of Erie, Diann Ruggiero and her husband Steven of Millcreek, Janet Difiori of Millcreek and Joyce Kostek and her husband John of Erie, two brothers, Larry Juchno of Erie and James Juchno and his wife Diana of Sarasota, Fla., six nieces and nephews, Cynthia, Jeffrey and Gregory Santi, Melinda Harmle, Loriann Ruggiero and Michael Juchno, lifelong friends Rob, Chrissy, Dan, Cindi Pollock, and Ken and Patrice Burns and families.
Friends may call on Friday at the Francis V. Kloecker Funeral Home, Inc., 2502 Sassafras St., Erie, PA 16502, from 4 p.m. until the time of the service at 7 p.m., with the Rev. Harry Johns officiating. Send condolences to www.kloeckerfuneralhome.com
Burial will be private.

I met George through the Port Authority ended up hunting and fishing a couple of times. A good guy and I'll miss seeing him down on the water. Rest in peace under a squirrel tree George.

We will miss seeing George at the Campground. Over the years my wife and I had several pleasant conversations with him over a cup of coffee. We will miss you George, rest in peace.
