Bart, Dan O'Brian and I rented an apartment when Bart was attending D.U We all attended school from grade school through high school. Bart was more like a brother than a friend. He was so funny, smart, and loyal that special does not express how much he meant to me.

Bart used to take me sometimes on Saturdays to see a movie matinee...we´d sit in the balcony and stuff ourselves on popcorn. Another memory, when I was a preteen and would be doing my hair I. Front if the bathroom mirror, he´d come up behind me and say "Eek, a freak!"

I met Bart at Old Chicago in Colorado Springs 28 years ago and began the best journey of my life. We laughed a lot - he had a great sense of humor and told a lot of jokes. We traveled the world together and loved our Royal Caribbean cruises. We completed our bucket lists. Bart loved his family and friends with a large heart. He suffer a lot at the end, but was loving, even during his last hour. I know that he is enjoying heaven and will be waiting there for me.
