George Solorio Obituary

George Solorio, 61, born April 8, 1947 in Los Angeles, CA passed away July 8, 2008. Preceded in death by his parents and brother, David Solorio. He is survived by his loving wife, Dianna; children, Stacey (Trevas) McFail, Jamie (Jesus) Solorio and Peggy Tellington; step-children, Trayce (Robert) Parker and Jeff (Dora) Petrus; grandchildren, Kaeann and Kierra McFail, Angel and Christofer Solorio; step-grandchildren, Brandy (Woody) Garner, Kristina and Shandiin Petrus. George retired as a Master Sergeant from the US Army after 22 ½ years of service. He then worked in Civil Service for 10 years at Ft. Carson. George will be greatly missed by all his family and friends. There will be a viewing on Friday, July 11, 2008 from 5-7pm followed by Rosary, both at Dove-Witt Fountain Valley Chapel, 6630 S. Hwy 85/87, Fountain, CO. Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, July 12th, 1pm at Holy Family Church, 331 Main St., Security, CO. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Odyssey House in George's memory.

Dianne I will miss going out to dinner with my good friend George>We met 30 years ago at the Fort Carson, Central Issue Facility. George I will always think of you and the good times we had.

Dianne and family It was truely a blessing to have such a friendly, upbeat person as a neighbor and friend. Day after Day, Year after Year we could count on his smiling face and a cheer of a greeting. He will be mised and definitely not forgotten.
