George Torres passed away peacefully on May 11, 2018 surrounded by his loving family at the age of 83.
George was born October 1, 1934 in Colorado Springs, Colorado and was a life long resident. He married Louise Torres (Sanchez) and they raised 2 children. He worked for the U.S. Government as a maintenance contractor.
George is survived by his wife Louise; two children, Belinda Torres and Daniel Torres; 2 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 10:00 AM on Friday, May 18th followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM at Evergreen Funeral Home. Burial at Evergreen Cemetery at 12:00 PM with military honors.

My condolences to to Aunt Bebe, Belinda and Danny Lee at this difficult time.I remember uncle as a true gentleman, always looking out for his wife and children.He was a hard worker and a provided the best for his family. He was a reserved, quiet, kind and observant man. My thoughts of Uncle Richard will always be cherished. Say "hi" to my mother when you see her. From my heart your niece..... Bernadette
