Georgia Tichenor Obituary

February 12, 1953-December 19, 2007. Grew up in the Palm Springs area. As an adult, Georgia lived in Idyllwild, then moved to Searcy, AK, and spent her final years in Colorado Springs, CO. Georgia is survived by her mother and step-father, Barbara and Vern Hamilton (Banning, CA), sisters Cindy Viola (Tempe, AZ) and Linda Sheldon (Lomita, CA), brother Evan Freudig (Phoenix, AZ), step-mother ottie Wilson (Yucca Valley, CA), step-sister Lori Gunter and niece Bethany Ordish (Aurora, CO). Friends and family will remember Georgia's generous and loving nature. Her compassion led her to work with people in need. Pikes Peak Hospice (Colorado Springs) provided extraordinary care for Georgia in the last few months of her life. In lieu of flowers, her family suggests donations to Pikes Peak Hospice to support continuing their good work.
