Jerry passed away in Colorado Springs on October 2, 2018 to be with his family. Jerry was born August 29, 1929 to Gerald and Rose Finley.
He is survived by Frances Cunnington (Sister) and Stephen Johnson (Son in law). Jerry was preceded in death by wife Betty, daughter Gina, son Jerry Finley Jr, brother Steve Dunda, and sisters Lucille and Margaret.
Jerry's parents died at an early age leaving 4 children. Jerry was raised by Aunt Helen and Uncle Steve Dunda in Pueblo, Colorado.
Jerry graduated from Central High School in Pueblo. He loved sports and was a member of the football team who won two state championships. Jerry played semi pro baseball, was called to the Korean War where he Served for two years. Upon his return he went to work for Mountain Bell from which he retired after 35+ years with the company.
Jerry was an avid golfer for 50+ years and will be missed by many at Patty Jewett golf course.
The service will be held at Grace Episcopal Church at 11:30am, Wednesday, October 24th, 2018 with a reception to follow at Patty Jewett Golf Course.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to any animal rescue organization.

Betty & Finn will always have a special spot in my heart. They opened their home to me when my husband, Don, was in the hospital in Colorado Springs. Good friends and the best of family. GIVE EVERYONE A HUG FOR ME, FINN. Love, Donna Lee
