On Wednesday July 21,2021 Gerald Otis Hunter, loving husband and father of 2 children passed away at the age of 75.

Jerry was born in Pueblo, CO to Otis and Ruth (Andresen) Hunter. He worked for the state of Colorado as a Data Base Administrator, Data Architect and most recent, Director of New Applications before he retired. On October 27, 1967, he married Carol Rae (Bartlett) Hunter. They raised two daughters and enjoyed a life of Laughter, Travel and Love for 49 years prior to Carols passing in 2017.

Jerry and his brother Scott were instrumental in opening Nod, the first headshop in Southern Colorado in 1969 and enjoyed many years of success.

Jerry had a passion for Koi and became the "Koi Doctor" administering help, advice, pond knowledge and all things Koi related to everyone that had a pond or were raising these amazing creatures.

Jerry is survived by his children, Dena Rae (Hunter) Gonzales, and husband David. Tiffany Kay Hunter and husband Jake. Granddaughter Melea Rae Krabach, husband Dayne and son in law Chris Krabach. Brother and Sister in law Scott and Janice Hunter and his brother-in-law's Douglas Bartlett and Allan Bartlett.

Dad, Papa, Brother and Friend, we wish you a fond Bon Voyage as you depart for your new great adventure!



Out of respect for Jerry's wishes no services will be scheduled.
