Jerry Van Horn, 67, passed away in his home surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, June 2, 2021.
Jerry was an outstanding Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother, and Friend. He put family above all else and could make a friend out of anyone who crossed his path with his fun loving, charming demeanor and ability to innately understand people. There really wasn't anything Jerry wasn't good at. He was an exceptional businessman as well as an exceptional athlete, gaining an induction within the Colorado Springs Hall of Fame in 2015.
He is survived and deeply missed by his wife, Fabiola Hunt; daughter, Valerie McPheeters; son, Jeff Van Horn; daughter, Vanessa Miranda; daughter, Savannah Hunt; grandchildren: Baylie and Foster and siblings: John, Joan, Janice, Jeff, Jay and Joel. Here's to ya, Bub.
Funeral Service, 11am, Friday, June 11, 2021, Woodman Valley Chapel-Woodmen Heights Campus, 8292 Woodmen Valley View, Colorado Springs, CO. 80908.
Visitation, 5-7pm, Thursday, June 10, 2021, Shrine of Remembrance, 1730 E. Fountain Blvd, Colorado Springs, CO 80910.
In remembrance of Jerry, the family asks that in lieu of flowers, a charitable donation be made to The Green Beret Foundation or The American Cancer Society. (Please include: In Honor of Jerry Van Horn)

Jerry was always welcoming and kind no matter when and where you saw him (happy or sad occasions). The Van Horn family is large but as close as a family could be. Jerry will be missed by so many as well as so many who will never get the opportunity to know him. I am lucky to have been a family friend for my whole life.
