Geraldine Hoffmeister Obituary
She and Bert lived their early years in Meeker, Colorado before moving to Colorado Springs in 1957. They loved the mountains, camping and fishing and viewing the aspens in the fall.
Geri spent her last years in assisted living and hospice care. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Brookdale at Bear Creek employee fund.
A private family service to be held.

When I saw the picture of Geri I couldn't help but smile. She was so full of life. I loved her! One of my favorite memories is singing to the top of our lungs in Boone, NC, "Nothing could be finer than to be in Carolina in the morning." I know she is in heaven, free of suffering and with Bert and Sean!

Got reacquainted with Geri when she was living in the retirement home on 21st. Originally met her and Bert at Faith church a long time ago. She was a dear soul. Sympathies to Debbie and Lisa.

Debbie and Lisa: I am so sorry for your loss but at least she's with Bert now! I had more fun with your parents and was so sorry when life changed for Darrell and I but we have those wonderful memories. My thoughts and prayers are with you both!

I met Geri in about 1978, when I was selected to be an elder at Faith Presbyterian church. I was assigned to the worship committee to work with Geri. She was everything I was not:I was impetuous; she was calm; I was ignorant: she was wise; I knew hardly anyone; she seemed to know everybody; she took everything in stride. She never lost patience with me.
I have been an elder five times since then and I always tell people that Geri was the one who had the greatest impact on me
In short, Geri changed my life.
A good mother is s gift. She loves us from before we are born.
From her, we learn how to love others.
Until time soon begins to heal your enormous loss, may you be comforted by faith, by family, by friends, and by the memory of a good life, well lived. May God bless you all.
