Like so many others you have taught me about life. You were my mentor and had such a huge impact on the person I am today. It hurts but as you said I am like you and I will just work until the hurt lessens. I have always just wanted you to be proud of the person you help me become and I hope that I can honor you in that way. I am greatful that I had the opportunity to have you as my second family. I am gonna get it together and push on. Saying that I am gonna miss you is an understatement. Good bye boss until we meet again. I know you are looking down on me and all of us. I love you rest in peace.

A mass will be said for Gilbert today at our church here in Tombstone Az. Unfortunately we will not be able to attend his services in Colorado. Gilbert was a giving caring friend to our family for over 24 years.

My deepest condolences and prayers to all of Gilbert's family. He and I had chances to share life experiences and laughs. It is because of him and the way he treated staff and employees that I stayed at the Double Eagle. I always felt welcome and appreciated. I will miss him deeply.

My deepest sympathy goes out to the family. Heartfelt prayers to you all during this time.
Gilbert taught me so much about life, lessons I will hold dear and never forget. He always gave me confidence that I could do anything and then pushed me to do it. He is the man I always went to for advice, be it personal or professional. He had the answers. I will miss him so much. His stories, his advice, his kindness, his compassion. I loved him so. I will take the lessons I learned from him with me forever and make him proud as he watches over us from heaven. Rest now dear soldier. I love you.
