Gilbert Trujillo Obituary
He leaves behind his wife of 48 years, Mary Trujillo and his 6 children, Joseph Bueno (Carol), Steve Trujillo (Janet), Gilbert Trujillo Jr (Terry), Tina Madrid (Clyde), Tammy Trujillo, Sam Trujillo (LaVonne), 24 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. He also had 8 brothers and 5 sisters and several nieces and nephew's.
Gilbert is preceded in death by his father Secundino Trujillo, Mother Benita Aragon and Grandson Joshua Andrew Bueno Sr.
Gilbert worked for the City of Colorado Springs for more than 40 years. He loved to spend time with his family, which included, going out to dinner with the love of his life, Mary, hunting with his sons, grandsons, and son-in-law, long talks with his daughters and all the many family celebrations. He was an amazing husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend, that will be truly loved and missed and will never be forgotten.
Services to celebrate the life of Gilbert Trujillo will be Friday, October 2, 2015. Viewing from 6:00PM - 9:00PM and Funeral Saturday, October 3 at 2:00PM at Angelus Chapel 1104 S. Circle Drive, Colorado Springs, CO 80910.

I remember Gilbert from High School. He was so handsome and a very nice friendly person. Sorry for his passing. Earth's loss is Heaven's gain. Those that are saved will be united in Heaven soon.

Mary and family, Gil was so amazing and I am truly sorry to hear of his passing. he was the best neighbor a kid could ask for and I will miss seeing him when I visit.

Gil was a great neighbor, always looking out for everyone. We are going to miss his smile and his love for his family that shone from his face whenever we asked about his family, the kids, the grandkids and the great grandkids. But, mostly, his love for Mary was so awesome to see. We are right next store, Mary, whenever you want to talk about Gil. We are praying for you and your family.
