Glen Edward Daily, age 89, peacefully passed away in his sleep on March 24, 2023 in Canon City, Colorado. He was a loving husband of the late Roberta Grace (Berry), who was the mother of his children, and Ruth Margaret (Ayler). He is survived by his beloved Roberta Adeline (Harris), his 3 children; Jennifer (Lyn) Kimsey, Kim Daily and Rick (Julie) Daily and 12 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
Glen was a long-time resident of Colorado Springs, and later Canon City, Colorado. He was a painter and paperhanger by trade who built a successful business called Glen Daily Painting. In Colorado Springs, he was involved in painting many of the Victorian houses on Wood Avenue, the Broadmoor Hotel and even some projects in Cheyenne Mountain. He also painted the Imperial Hotel in Cripple Creek.
As a Colorado native, he loved spending time in the great outdoors, camping and fishing in mountain lakes. One of his favorite fishing spots was O'Haver Lake.
Glen also had a passion for music. He played numerous musical instruments and was in small local bands from his late teens until the present.
Glen was truly one of a kind who will be missed more than words can express and loved by family and friends.
