I just saw the obituary and am saddened by Glenn's passing. I am a day late so have missed the funeral because of my tardiness in seeing the announcement. As you know I worked at Chambon's from 1967 to 1970, directly under Glenn's leadership. I remember with so much joy Glenn, Chuck, Tweedy, Leonard, Liz, Clarion and Lou. Glenn helped me over the years with all he could. What a great man, who now is in heaven. God Bless you his family.

Nancy, my sympathies to you and your family. I didn't know him personally, but your father was well respected in the community. May the Lord comfort you through the love and support of friends.

Sorry to hear about your loss. The Chambon Family is legendary on the westside. He was a very kind man...

Much like a child loves to hear "Great Job" from his father--I know that Glenn has already heard the words from God "Well done good and faithful servant." Glenn was such an encouragement to me. My memories of the times I got to work for he and Bardie at their store are memories I cherish. Bardie and Glenn have always shown their abundant love to others and they always made me feel like I was part of their family. My life has been forever blessed by Glenn. Your family is in my prayers and heart at this time. Love, Nancy Stice

What a wonderful man and a wonderful life. Glenn will be truely missed by many. I am so thankful for the time that I got to spend with him while I was growing up, and so thankful for everything Glenn and Katherine did for my parents, and my family over the years. My heart goes out to all of the family. Just know that he is with the Lord now and there is no more suffering or pain. Also, know that there was a huge group of family and friends at the gate to welcome him into Heaven. I know my parents were part of that group. Keep all those wonderful memories close in your heart and cherish them always. May God hold all of you close at this time of great sorrow. He is always there for you! Love to all of you!
