We had our Class of '61 reunion more than a year ago and it's always sad to acknowledge that Glenn isn't with us anymore. He was a very good friend of mine and I sure miss not being able to see or talk to him.

We have known Glenn and his family for a very long time. He brought a lot of joy and beauty into the world through his musical talent and through those he shared it with through his teaching career. We are so very sorry for his tragic death. We extend our condolences to Glenn's family.

Glenn has been a long-time friend. We shared a love of music and a real fondness for "Smitty" our band and orchestra director. Glenn was generous in sharing his music. I have many CD's which he recorded for me, just knowing that I liked certain composers and certain music. He never faltered in his love for Colorado Springs or for CSHS (Palmer) and he never forgot his friends. We will all miss him and hope that he is, indeed, having the pleasure of his favorite music forever.

Glenn was one of my better friends in high school and a fantastic horn player. I am sad to see this has happened. Dr. Lloyd Porter, California

I was sorry to read of the accident that took Glenn's life. I came to know Glenn when he served as a replacement music teacher for a while at Thompson Elementary in the Bethel S.D. He introduced our students to the playing of handbells, which was a wonderful experience for them. Later he worked for a while as the music teacher at Naches Trail Elementary. I haven't seen Glenn since I left the Bethel S.D. in 1986, but I wanted his family to know that he is remembered and that your sorrow in his sudden departure is shared by others.
Many of us will take comfort in knowing that we'll gather together in the future and enjoy an eternity of joyful music!
Most sincerely,
