Gloria DeHerrera Obituary

Gloria DeHerrera, lifelong resident of Colorado Springs has lost her life to natural causes. She is preceeded in death by her parents Reynolds and Lillie DeHerrera, Brother Max Deherrera, and grandaughter LillieAnn. She is survived by her son, Johnny Ray (Melissa) DeHerrera, her sister Betty (Harvey) Candelaria, her brother Johnny DeHerrera, and many nieces, nephew and grandchildren.

Viewing will be Wednesday August 19th, at Cappadona Funeral Home. 1020 E. Fillmore St. Colorado Springs, CO at 12:00pm, service to follow at 3:00pm.

Heaven opened the door for you my friend. You took care of both your parents in their elder years. Johnny was the light in your life. I know you are looking down giving him strength and guiding him. So many memories we shared and I will never forget how my family and I was always welcomed at anytime in your home. Just a few days ago I was thinking how I needed to give you a call.Rest in peace my friend in God's loving arms. Your good heart will be missed by your friends and family.

Heaven opened the gates for you my friend. As you took care of your aging parents and my family and I were always welcomed in your home. Many memories we had. I spoke to you a few years back and was just thinking I need to call you. This was totally unexpected for me to learn. I know you are looking down on Johnny and his family as he was the light of your life. You will be greatly missed my friend. Rest in peace in God's arms.
