Gloria Grady Obituary
Gloria Irene (Repetto) Grady died April 1, 2015 at home.
Mrs. Grady was born in New York City and graduated from Seton Academy and the College of Mount Saint Vincent in New York. Married during World War II to her lifelong love, she embraced the adventure of traveling to China to join her husband, Robert, who was a member of the Flying Tigers. She remained with him at the end of WWII during the Chinese Civil War.
She traveled extensively with her husband making a home for him and their five children throughout the world. Apart from numerous stateside assignments, they also lived in Germany, France and England. Their final assignment brought them to Colorado Springs and Ent Air Force Base, now the home of the Olympic Training Center.
Mrs. Grady returned to school to obtain a teaching certificate and then substitute taught throughout the region. She specialized in languages and was highly sought after for her ability to speak and teach five different languages. She retired from teaching at the age of 85.
Her husband and her son, Robert, preceded her in death.
She is survived by her children, Cheryl Fitch, Richard Grady (Sylvia), and Dolores Grady of Colorado Springs and Gloria Kelly (Michael) of Smithfield, Maine; as well as four grandchildren, Rory Fitch, Ian Kelly, Hillary Grady and Robert Grady; and one great-grandchild, Channing Kelly.

Mass of Christian Burial, 10:00AM, Wednesday, April 8, 2015, Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 2318 North Cascade, Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Burial, Fort Logan National Cemetery, Denver, Colorado.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Gloria's name may be made to Pikes Peak Hospice, 2550 Tenderfoot Hill Street, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80906.
