tO THE mALACARA fAMILY
,
GLORIA IS FINALLY AT PEACE AND IN THE PRESENCE OF GOD.

GLORIA AND I HAVE BEEN FRIENDS SINCE JUNIOR HIGH AND, HAVE HAD THE GOOD FORTUNE TO KEEP IN TOUCH ALL THESE YEARS. WE KIND OF PLANNED ON GROWING OLD TOGETHER; IN A WAY, WE GOT HALF WAY THERE.

SHE CAME TO VISIT ME IN CALIFORNIA IN THE 1990'S. I TOOK HER TO CARMEL, CALIFORNIA. I RECALL HER WRITING ON THE SAND : "I LOVE JAKE." I WISH I HAD TAKEN A PICTURE FOR YOU JAKE. SHE LOVED ALL HER FAMILY AND I THINK SHE LOVED ME LIKE A SISTER. I STILL HEAR HER VOICE AND HER LAUGHTER AND IT WILL REMAIN IN MY MEMORY FOR ALL TIME.

LOVE TO ALL. LINDA SANCHEZ
