Gordon Alvey Sr. Obituary
He Joined the Navy in October of 1955 were he served his career as a Boatswain's Mate.
His is preceded in death by this wife Della Alvey. He is survived by his two sons Gordon Jr. and Reginald Alvey.
Visitation will be Sunday from 4:00pm to 6:00pm at Dove-Witt Family Mortuary. Funeral Service will be Monday 10:00 am at Awaking's Church 3445 Oro Blanco Dr Colorado Springs with Burial to follow at Fort Logan National Cemetery Denver, Colorado .

My heart goes out to you for the deep loss you must be feeling for your beloved one, Mr. Alvey Sr. May you find comfort in prayer and in one another. Psalms 32:7 "You are a hiding place for me. You will safeguard me from distress. You will surround me with joyful shouts of deliverance."

In loving memory of a wonderful person. We will love you and miss you always. "Red" was a true friend. If there is a Walmart in Heaven, I'm sure Red and Della are busy shopping with the angels. Just know that you have another guardian angel on your shoulder.
