Gordon Conrad Obituary

Oct. 21, 1937-Dec. 10, 2007. Gordon W. Conrad passed away December 10, 2007, at Memorial Hospital in Colorado Springs. He was born October 21, 1937 in Redwood Falls MN to Wayne Edward Conrad and Elva Mae Starr. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Arelene May Meuleners. He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Sandra "Sandy" Joy (Boehlke) their two children: Jeff Conrad (wife Deb) of Colorado Springs and Julie Yashur (husband Darrell) of Castle Rock; and two grand children Jared and Rachael Conrad also of Colorado Springs as well as numerous in-laws, nieces and nephews. Gordon spent three years in the Navy then returned to Minnesota where he graduated with a BA in math and physics from St Cloud State College, where he met and married Sandra. He was a solid, loving presence in his family and he will be missed each and every day more than words can say.
