GORDON MARCUM PRICE
October 14, 1943 September 25, 2018
Gordon Marcum Price, of Denver, born October 14, 1943, deceased September 25, 2018; beloved husband of the late Courtney Price, both victims of an auto accident; remembered as a thoughtful, kind, loving and dear friend. Gordy was born in Hutchinson, Kansas, to Albert H. and Dorothy (Neal) Price. His father died in World War II, when he was just a child. He was raised in Colorado Springs and attended the University of Colorado at Boulder before settling in Denver and starting a home building business. He was an avid golfer and ardent fan of the Denver Broncos and the CU Buffs. Pre-deceased by his parents, Gordy will be sorely missed for his fun-loving spirit, unrelenting loyalty to his friends, keen interest in history and love of travel.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, November 12, at Church of the Risen Christ, 3060 S. Monaco Parkway, Denver, CO 80222, with a reception to follow.

Gordy and I attended kindergarten at Buena Vista and went on as buddies throughout our lifes. We were teamates in softball, baseball and especially basketball where Gordy was a star player...allcity and all conference!!
He and I had grown very close over the last few years enjoying lunches together and dinners with our wifes.
Love you and will miss you!!

Gordy and Courtney will be sorely missed by our local travel group that recently made river cruises on the Danube and Rhône while also visiting several European countries. Gordy was a friend from Colorado Springs High School since 1958.....will miss him and Courtney immensely.
