Gordon Paul Reeves of Colorado Springs, Colorado was welcomed into the kingdom of our loving God on October 17, 2021 at the age of 85. Gordon was born on December 23, 1935 to Paul Wesley Reeves and Ruth Sarah (Tripp) Reeves in Ramah, Colorado. Gordon graduated from Simla High School. He began working first as a truck driver but for nearly all of his working life, worked as a mechanic and later as heavy duty diesel mechanic. In 1960, Gordon married Cherie Lea Tipton in Anchorage, Alaska. They had four children, In 1980, Gordon formed Reeves Mobile Maintenance and retired from that business in 2002. Gordon was preceded in death by his parents, his son Kevin Reeves, his Wife, grandson Baby Bulldog, granddaughter McKenna Reeves, and his brothers Roland Reeves and Richard Reeves. He is survived by his children Craig Reeves (married to Jackie Reeves), Kelly McCurley (married to William McCurley) and Kristi Shoaf (married to Thomas Shoaf). He is also survived by his grandchildren Steel Shoaf, Stone Shoaf, Maddison Railey, Haley Lewis, Emily McCurley, Wesley Reeves, Abigail Reeves, Natalie Reeves and Victoria Reeves, two great-grandchildren River Railey and Sienna Lewis, and Sue Parker and his sister Patricia Reeves and brother Vergil Reeves. Services will be held at Mountain View Mortuary, 2350 Montebello Square Dr,, Colorado Springs, CO on January 8, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. A reception will follow. He will be greatly missed.
