Meeting your family when I worked at Fremont, began a special connection. Having Grace as a friend, made life sweeter. Even 45 years later, I can hear her laughter and see her warm smile.

All I can say is that it was a privilege to know Grace when I worked at Fremont Elementary School and she was a parent there who offered support to the entire staff and all the students. Her volunteer activities, her beautiful smile, her genuine commitment to making sure not only her sons, but all children had opportunities for the best quality education, made her shine like a twinkling star.

I had the opportunity to run into Grace throughout the years following my time at Fremont many times when we were out shopping, which always lead to a long conversation. No matter how many years had passed between our chats, her enthusiastic desire to know about my life, was genuine. I always left feeling the warmth of her smile.

Grace and her family made our school stronger and we were certainly fortunate to have her with us until it was time for her sons to move to middle school. I send my healing wishes to her family and friends. Thank you for letting her be part of our lives.
