Grace Prewitt Obituary

Grace Marie Prewitt, 79, of Loveland, died November 8, 2010 at her home in Loveland. She was born November 20, 1930 in Dill City, Oklahoma to William C. and Bertie (Leathers) Crawford. In 1948 Grace graduated from El Reno High in El Reno, OK. From 1979-1992 she lived in the Colorado Springs, CO area. Her first husband Edgar Dean McDuff passed away in January of 1985. On April 11, 1992 she married James Norman Prewitt. Grace lived in Denver, CO for many years before moving to Loveland in 2002. Grace was a medical secretary at the VA Hospital for 22 years. She enjoyed traveling and singing. She was a church choir director for many years. Grace is survived by her husband Norman Prewitt of Windsor, CO; Son Ron McDuff (Linda) of Longmont, CO; grandchildren David McDuff and Tracy Peters (Michael) of Colorado Springs; and her great-grandchildren Jourdan Peters, Anthony Peters, Conner McDuff and Mollee McDuff all of Colorado Springs. She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband and her daughter Jeannette Marie McDuff. Funeral services will be held Friday 10:00 A.M. at the Loveland Church of the Nazarene. Interment will be held at Evergreen Cemetery in Colorado Springs on Saturday at 10:30 A.M. Viewing will be Thursday from 5:00pm-8:00pm at Viegut Funeral Home in Loveland, CO. Memorials may be made to Pathways Hospice of Larimer County in care of Viegut Funeral Home 1616 N. Lincoln, Loveland, CO 80538. Go to www.viegutfuneralhome.com for condolences.
