Gregory Halliday Obituary

Gregory Alexander Halliday, age 69, of Colorado Springs, Colorado went to be with the Lord suddenly following an automobile accident on February 16, 2023. He was a beloved husband, father and grandfather who loved the Lord and will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege to know him.
Greg was born on May 22, 1953, the oldest of three children. Growing up in Staten Island, he loved swimming in the ocean and working on cars. Greg moved to Colorado where he met his wonderful wife Loretta. Greg worked hard and continuously cared for those around him, having spent his life as a registered nurse in the cardiac cath lab. Greg was also a dedicated father to his son, Timothy, including serving as Scoutmaster for the Boy Scouts. He never missed an opportunity to spend time with Tim, whether that be teaching him a new skill, going camping or competing in a pinewood derby. In his later years, Greg enjoyed being involved in various church activities and bible studies, reading and watching car racing. Greg was as compassionate as he was gregarious with a passion for the Lord and sharing His love. He will be remembered as the one you could count on for a smile, a hug and a cup of coffee.
Greg leaves behind his devoted wife of 43 years, Loretta; beloved son Timothy (Jessica) of Parker, CO; precious granddaughter, Kyra; his brother Jaimie of San Diego, CA; and numerous other family, colleagues and friends.
A service is scheduled for Saturday, March 11, 2023 at 1:00pm with a reception to follow at Village Seven Presbyterian Church, 4040 Nonchalant Cir S, Colorado Springs, CO 80917. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bible Study Fellowship.
